Yesterday Wyse released the new version 3.6 of its provisoning software called WSM. This new version has enhancements in several parts of the product and is interesting for small and large customers.
A lot of features that have been requested by customers over the time have been added now.
Here is a list of all features with some explanations in brackets:

• Changes to sites and templates
   – Allow multiple server groups / device groups / os images per template
   – Preserve items added at linked site
   – Locally managed sites
• Enhanced Overview / Dashboard page

Earlier than expected I have finished my work on the new release of the Configuration Generator. I have really included a lot of new features to make it even easier to handle and look even better than before.

New features are:

• New Wizard Mode for WTOS configuration (if you like that, I will do the same for Linux)
• Ability to save the default folder path for opening and generating new ini files
• New cool icon
• New splashscreen
• Some dozen new parameters for SUSE Linux added
• Fixed an issue which occurs while opening ConfGen the first time
• General bugfixing (as always)

 WSM 3.0 released
WSM, Wyse OS and Application streaming solution, was updated to version 3.0. There are a overwhelming set of new feature in that version, which I have listed below. But I will discuss some of them in a more detail.

With switching to a Site-based architecture Wyse reaches the goal of making WSM high available. Each remote location is called a site and connects back to the HQ Server. Each site has an independent server and database but is still controlled by the HQ. TCX Suite 4 is launched
Wyse has finally launched the new version of its successful TCX Suite. The new version 4 consists of the well known USB and Media Redirection, Rich Sound and Multidisplay. As VMware has released their new View version with integrated PCoIP protocol everybody is now in a kind of a PCoIP hype. I am still not sure if this new protocol will prove what it promises but first test are really impressive. If you have your clients connected in a fast LAN environment and bandwidth is not a big issue for you than PCoIP could be a cool protocol for remote
