Location Based Network Printing

Hi All

I am wanting to do some location based network printing and wanted to see how everyone else is doing this with Xeniths and XenDesktop.

I am thinking of using Citrix Session Printer Policies assigned to the Xenith hostname - is anyone else doing this?

Obviously I could also do it via mac.ini and autocreation but looking at a couple thousand devices would like something that easy to manage for the support guys.

We use the client name as well. We also use Appsense which can take the client name and map printers specifically for that device. Our client name also is descriptive of where the terminal is located physically. ex. 8NPIT-001 would be 8th floor, north, in our Pittsburgh Office, teminal 001.

Thanks for the reply Sarjent.

Now have this up and running with Session Printers and working well. We also have Appsense but only App Manager implemented at this time. Thanks for the heads up.
