Dear All,

I have finally managed to get WDM and our thin clients talking to each other and am quite happy with everything. However I was hoping to be able to centralise some of the configuration using the WTOS.INI file. Am I right in assuming that I have to write this file from scratch before deploying? Is it not possible to lift it from an existing Wyse box that I can manually configure as a template? These may be stupid questions and I apologise if they are but so far all I can find on the subject is which parameters to change and not actually where the file is if I have to build one!

Thanks in advance

Tim

There are to ways to create a wnos.ini file (not wtos.ini).
1. Use any texteditor and the Wyse INI Reference Guide to write your file from scratch
2. Use my Configuration Generator

I see so there is not an existing file on the Wyse box that can be caputured and used as a template. Fully understand and apologies for the terminolog confusion. According to the doc I was reading WNOS INI is configured using the wnos.ini. Will have a look at your configuration generator as well, sounds like an easier way than from scratch!

Thanks!
