This small tool creates the configuration files you will need for Wyse ThinOS, Wyse Linux v6 and Wyse Enhanced Suse Linux. It can also create Windows CE Addons based on a registry configuration file and send Real-Time commands to the units like Shutdown, Reboot, etc.

You need Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to use this tool.
If you want to run this program from a network share, you have to modify your .NET permissions like this:
- Find {Windows-Directory}Microsoft.NET{.NET-Version}caspol.exe
- Execute "caspol -machine -addgroup All_Code -url serverpath* FullTrust -n FullTrustFromNetworkShare "
- This will give all .NET applications from the above network share full access

The Ericom terminal emulator allows for more configuration than is available through the INI file CONNECT=TEC string and through the Connection Manager GUI. To enable sessions to have a richer configuration, Wyse Linux V6 allows for the customized configuration files to be on an FTP server and then used by all Thin Clients when the connection is made.

GIMP is a is a popular graphics package for Linux. The link above is to the Windows port of this software. When creating wallpaper/screen savers for your Linux terminal use this program to convert existing Windows Bitmaps the the .XPM format required by Linux.

Simply open the bitmap and select "save as" from the file menu, be sure to chage the file type to XPM.

You will need to install the runtime environment and the GIMP package, use the latest stable version.
